I have downloaded several mods for the game including the TM 1.6 i think it is. First let me say thanks for really keeping this game afloat to all those that have made these mods.

My problem is that I used the Mod enabler program as instructed but unlike the sounds and the graphic mods that you can SEE and HEAR I'm not seeing any changes to the sinking mechanics of the ship even with the mod enabled. I'm using the default school torp mission as a test and everytime the cruiser sinks in about 1 minute or less usually in a huge fireball with only two torps. Also someone made a mod that releases oil just like SH3 but yet i dont see any oil comming out of sinking ships either.

DO the TM mods and sinking mechanics override each other or is it something im doing wrong. Cant wait to really get into things again, oh and one more thing did UBI ever fix the speed guestimate problem in SH4 yet or is it still a wild guess like when we first started?

Thanks for all your help

William

TM 1.6 has NSM 3.2 light included.

There is a newer version (3.3) which is a lot better. But you must install NSM 3.3 over TM, otherwise you will override the new version with the old one. I reccomend using the classic version, the light version has increased flooding times. There is also a test mission coming with NSM 3.3. Go to Single Player Missions and chose Natural Sinking Mechanics. You can test the mod on different kinds of ships.

The latest version of NSM is here: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=120269
