i had an officer, whom i needed, fired:damn: . thing is, on reloading the save on entering base to get him back i no longer have a grid area to patrol. it's listed as NULL in the load screen. maybe this can be fixed in 1.04?:-?

Stock SH3 is not designed so that subs can dock anywhere they want mid patrol.

GWX included this refitting at milk cows and friendly bases as a mod feature... as a side effect your patrol grid will say "NULL" once you resume the mission.

In this case you are free to take your boat wherever you please.
