Is it possible to edit your maximum game depth?
It's now limited to 500 meters. Below that will make your boat disappear.

How exacltly do you reach such depth? There is no sub in sh-3 that can reach 500 meters. Hell most modern subs these days stay away from 500 meters.

he's right about the sub disapearing at 500m. play a MP game and let your sub get destroyed :yep: (or kill one of ur comerade's :hmm:)

You can tweak your boat with for example the SH3 Mini Tweaker Program.

I don't think the game will render graphics at 500 metres :nope:

I remember a thread some time back where someone actually managed to get past 500. I don't remember the exact circumstances, but I believe it was determined that the game auto-kills your boat at exactly 500, and by plummeting too quickly, he had evaded the guillotine.

I believe that the kaleun in question grounded his boat, and after getting all the flooding under control...

...suffered implosion the moment he rose to 500 meters.

Well if it stops rendering the boat at that depth, why does it get stuck there. You aren't able to surface again if you get past 500 meters.

Let's put it another way.....at 500 metres and beyond the environment is pitch black...so why the need ? :hmm:
