View Full Version : Ship numer in a roster.. there's limit?

Hi everyone :D
I have a small question: there is a limit for ship (and airplane, sub, environ..) number in a single roster? And in total?

If yes, what happen when there are too many ships? game crash? they're not spawn? :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:

I know denis in the Ru forums had over 240 ships in his game plus anothe 80 ( ? ) aircraft
Now they arent all in one roster so I cant say

A have about 180 units (many others on my hard drive are still to be added) and it works fine.

Hey!
Do the ships, subs and planes spawn in the campaign just by putting the files in the roster folders? Or do you have to edit some of the campaign files? So you can have like 180 ships spawning randomly in the campaign??

Depends on what mod if any you are using

If you are playing stock then no
Not sure on the other super mods but I know GWX has a lot of random entries in the RND layer that will pick up any ship as long as is in the roster

Any ship that is as long as its a merchant\tanker\destroyer and some battleship entries
