This is a set of 420 color pin-up art pics by artist Gil Elvgren.

Most have been cropped to meet the SH4 size requirement, but some have been resized with padding added on the sides, which allowed me to keep the whole girl in the picture. Some do feature naked backsides, but that's all. Many are actually post-war, while the rest are pre-war or during.

These are compatible with the A Girl In Every Port program. Thumbnail file included.

Since there was only one request in my CDP9 WIP thread, and I couldn't fill the actual request, I did the next best thing and went with another pin-up artist. And yes, you read that right. 420 pictures! And that was after deleting the frontal nudity and the more blatantly obvious post-war ones! After that, I just couldn't decide which ones to keep or delete to whittle the number down some more, so I just used all of them.

Well, when it comes to pretty girls, the more the merrier. Right??

And besides, if you've got GIEP it's not a problem. :D

Because that'll get me banned from Filefront quicker than you can say Gato class!

However, on some of the pics, if you squint reeeeally hard...

Thanks for considering that nameless person's request Fred:rock: Great work as always. Now I just have to convince my wife that I really need a new pair of glasses so I can get the full "effect" :rotfl: .

No, I don't. However, you can type "gil elvgren" in Google and find them under Images. That's how I find all my pictures.

fred8615,

May I enquire if you have considered applying your talents here towards modding the pin-up in the conning tower?

I have thought about not only the in-sub pinups, but also the office too, though it would've been just for myself. However I'm currently leaning towards not doing it. But you'd like to do it yourself, check this out:

Note that while this thread only deals with the office, the technique for the sub stuff is the same. And the sub files are in the same folder. You just have to find them.

The textures that contain the sub interior pinups are in the blahblahblah\Data\Textures\TNormal\tex folder. They are the file that end in _Int_02.dds and start with the class of submarine. IE, the file for the Gato class would be Gato_Int_02.dds. These textures have the "skin" for many objects on them, including the pin-ups. In order to change them, you would need to correctly size and orient the pinup to match the spot on the texture where it belongs and then paste the image and merge the layers. It would have been nice if the pinups in the subs (and the maps for that matter) and the pinups in the office had been seperate textures so that they could be easily replaced like the captain's desk photo.
