He is referring to the AA cruiser (CL 51), based on the photos in his link. Although the "Atlanta" didn't serve in the Atlantic her sister ship "USS Juneau" spent some time off the Eastern U.S. and in the Caribbean area prior to her demise. She was involved in limited Anti-submarine training. Unlike most cruisers this class was equipped with depth charges.

There is an Atlanta class somewhere on my hard drive but it is just a crude clone of the "Dido" that I whipped up a year or two ago; after the Merchant Fleet Mod is finished I would like to restart the project and produce something of higher quality...

Thanks for the answers! Yes, I speak about Atlanta I CL 51. Not secure about but I read of one Atlanta class in Mediterranean for few weeks.

Yes; that is another ship that needs to be improved before it is released. ATM everything is on hold until the merchant ships are done.
