Well, I'm getting tired of having to do the same mission over and over, and I guess that many others are aswell. However, I've searched this forum and can't seem to find a mod/fix that fixes that problem ONLY. (From what I've gathered, there's a fix in the TriggerMaru mod).

So, is there a mod that adresses only this problem?

Also, is there a mod that reduces the number of enemy aircraft in the game? It gets frustrating when you try to go somewhere and speed up the time, but over and over again your'e engaged by enemy aircraft, maybe there's some tactic to use to bypass this? (yes, I am a newbie).

Thanks

-Erik

Edit: However, when searching the forums some more, I found some people saying that you get new objectives in the next patrol etc. if you send a status report etc. after completing your original one, is this true? if so, this topic is pointless, and I'm sorry. I belive

Give this a try. I have played with this mod installed over 5 hours now and it gives more variety on the patrol areas assigned. Much better experience than the stock.

Ah, thank you :) it looks nice, will try it out.

by the way, are you by any chance Swedish? (considering the USS Torsk-thingy in your signature)

I belive I have also been using Tater's Improved Campaign Layers mentioned above for about a month or so and like it.

Regarding aircraft there is an AirStrike cfg mod out there that reduces night attacks by changing the "Night Modifier" in Airstrike.cfg to 0.005.

Edit: I picked up the airstrike mod info at subsowespac.org. Makes sense to me!

Yeah Hawk, it is a bit more realistic IMHO. You might patrol for days without a contact. Much like the real patrols as reported. I really like what Tater has done here.

Yeah, i wnet for along time with no contact, then out of no where a find myself in ahuge convoy with 6DDs, and 2 crusers with merchants, but i was too far from the merchants and crusers to hit anything, and the DDS were coming for me, i sunk 1 DD, but they got me in the end, it is much more realistic, and combined with ROW, i dont mind not seeing anything for a while, i can enjoy the ocean.
