I just saw, 3 guys coming from nothing ,
geting in here and all of a sudent, bringing
some major Modding into SHIII community!

From time to time to the oldest SS Modders
there comes a new guy into the block,
this year we found 3 guys that joyned the
Modder community and brought to us some
of the major and most wanted Mods into
our SHIII game...

This are the Names!

- Diving Duck
- Urfish

Brought us the fantastic and needed Open Hatch Mods!

- RacerBoy
- Onelifecrises

Brought us the SH4 effects for SH3 , Improved Wave Textures ,
Combat Flag , Dual exhaust Mods ....

Some of this are still developing but they are here,
and you can use them ....

this guys are what we need and the spirit is as it shows
a mater of wanting to help , I bellieve this are just the
most important Modifications , but we will not forget
also the small Mods that toghether with the large
brought us a lot more game expirience and inovation...

Making this a very best of the best WWII Naval Game
Sim ever saw....

Special Thanks

Could'nt agree more JC matey, Like i keep saying, I am blown away with what this community has accomplished, and will accomplish without an offical SDK/MDT.

My hat goes off to one and all who makes this fine game GREAT
Thank you Neal for giving us this Great place, and thank you all for making it an Outstanding place to visit.
Kudos to one and all.

JCWolf - don't forget about Flakmonkey !!!
[he's disappeared now...]
Nice idea to highlight those names!
It's like a giving medal [IRON CROSS-for example]
for a hero!

I think this system of medals for mods could work
on SUBSIM forum...? Ranks or medals for each mod...
They can be showed near modders avatars.
You maked a skin - you are bosman and you have
a big V near avatar...or something
- that is just an idea.;)

Genedige Karleuns,

I would like to just like to add (not only my admiration for these 'Knights of the deep') but also my thanks. Not only are these guys responsible for some fantastic mods BUT also give up much spare time offering help and advice to newbies to this scene like me:oops:. Herr Wolf, thanks for starting this thread. I believe, not only the newer modders but all modders who have made a contribution to this site deserve thanks. I am truly indebted and I salute you all.

I feel like I shouldn't really be on that list - all I did was replace a couple of textures!

But the response was so much appreciation that I'm now working on another mod. :) I'm still amateur though - RB and Reece and others have way more knowledge than I about modding, and can (and will) produce some really good stuff, I'm sure.

Here's to the future! :()1:

This is what it should be done,
if someone diserves our apreciation
and also respect ....

I didn't forgot nobody, I think in my
opinion this are the best Mods made this
here from our youger Captain in the Fleet!

I know others made also their moddings and
most of them are brilliant, but this for me
are the best!

Yea Ven, you are right bro, more of this
should be posted! :yep:

this i really nice! thank you all. even you forgot to mention my older mods which are still in use as the briefing room menu from WAC-mod for example...i have really done a lot for sh3 in the last 2 years. but i did it with fun!

and i also have to say, that divingduck has done the most of the complicated work, in the open hatch project. i was just the initiator and helped him with 3d models and stuff. and motivation

:know:

you forgot to mention anvart, flakmonkey and privateer. also skwasje and timetraveller had done some really significant milestones for the modding community, by creating fantastic tools! not to forget hansolo, kpt lehmann and his crew and AAselle for their nice super-mods! this community has a lot of potential...this is really unique.

great to be a part of it.

Yes, in my opinion, apreciation and respect, are right words...

The "visual freshnes" that was introtuced in a last three months into poor old SH3, has made a new life for our favorite simulation, at least for another two-three years...

Fact is, that VISUAL GAP betwen modern games & sims and aged SHIII, was so dangerously widen, that all GWX.01,02,03 togather (with a full respect for their achievemnts) could not solve the main problem: Lack of modern, up to date - new look!

And than - bunch of moders have shaken the ground: saved the life of gradually dying simulation.

I have no idea what should bring GWX1.04 (and what is alowed to bring... not to say "import") but you guys made me wait - with a calm and cool patience...

he he, DD you don't want me to unleash my fury of bikes on yours. Try this:

'98 CBR900RR (the red/black tiger stripe version) punched out to 945cc, cams are the Formula Extreme cams from Erion racing (straight out of the bikes when they retired them!), high compression pistons (12.5:1), head shaved .030", ported & polished and flowed heads, Falicon worked their magic on the crank and rods (lightened, strengthened, chamfered, knife-edged, polished, balanced), bigger valves and springs, Keihn 41mm FCR flatslides to allow it to breathe, Dyna 2000 ignition system, Two bros racing exhaust with carbon fiber can, Dyna coils, RaceTech redid the front forks, and an Ohlins rear shock keeps things in order out back...all together makes for 172 rear wheel HP...it's a monster. Used to road race this one but now it's just my fun machine to toy with people.

'02 Yamaha Warrior (cruiser) punched out to 1810cc, entire engine sent to Patrick racing to be 'modified' - ported & polished and flowed heads, bigger valves and springs, new cams, high compression pistons, Vance & hines Pro-pipe,and new clutch (get rid of that crappy diaphragm they call a clutch).....butt dyno confirms torque monster.

'00 R6 - stock except for Graves motorsports ignition advance and exhaust. Daily rider.

Next on the list to acquire is the Ducati 1048.....sometime this winter hopefully!

RB,

now I do understand you saying: When you are faced with choosing between your loves dump the woman first!

My fast time īs over. Never owned a monster like you do. But KTM rulez, best for low, medium and high level short distance operations below mach1.

Yeah every woman I've managed to get involved with ultimately gives me an ultimatum....bikes or me. Guess who wins??? :know: I'll never part with my bikes!
KTM does rock, I've ridden their dirt bikes.
Well back on the subject, much modding and work to do.......

Don't dump your woman just like that...
If you get angry, just ask her to dive to periscope depth, and you'll see the best hull skin around... better than FUBAR's!
After five minutes you'll be OK again... It works in mediterranean combat zone!

EDITED: No vulgar images, please...Neal hates them even if the joke is fun. (Hitman)
