Has anyone, or is it even possible, to combine two torpedo systems into one
weapon? i.e. A LuT search pattern with an acoustic homer?
I think there is no need for that. Simple moding range, turn angle and detonation power of homing torpedoes is enough:yep: . It turns homing torpedoes into very deadly "fire and forget weapons". Of course there is one limitation - torpedo will chase and destroy the nearest or the loudest target (it depends on number of targets in the area). I think tweaking active or passive homing properties could be interesting, but I didn't pay any attention to that issue .....:roll:

Think I'll have some fun with it then- fire depth set to 120m, a typ IX, and all tubes fire.... while sitting under a convoy.
