I really like your dirtied up torp hit effect, and your splash shapes vs the stock ones.
I had as stated already put these basic parts into my own .dat as stated in the previous thread and will see what else you now have in store.

Wildchild is this zones.cfg using the GWX sinking mechanics? I do not want to have a CTD do to some missing/changed value.:o
For now I'll just run with the materials.dat and texes.
Gotta get back from Norway first though...I hate the Kiel canal LOL.
Hey have you downloaded S3D editor yet, it allows you to reimport the textures back into the .dat file.

After patrolling some more I ran into a storm and one of the lightning textures is missing and a big white box flashes in the sky.
I fixed all of them in your previous version and I will look at the .dat to see which one is messed up in the morning. Then if you want I will send it off to you.:yep:
If you intended to use the zones.cfg, it's in the wrong folder!:-? and as Jhereg mentioned the lightning04_add.tga file is missing, don't know if there are any others, I extracted the tga files from the GWX materials.dat file and there are many more not included, are these needed?:)

yes it just seems to be the same version as the old, even has the smoke problem of blowing the wrong way, much to fast & persists after ship has sunk.:-?

Yeah just woke up and looked and it was lightning04_add.tga that was missing, you guys beat me while I was sleeping:doh:
Getting the new version now.
You need to rename the folders before you zip it up as they all still say Version
1.0b and may cause some confusion after they are extracted.:up:

One more thing I noticed and you may be able to find the answer on the SH4 side of things. The smoke is blowing way too fast just like the original smoke in SH4, it does not seem to react to the environment like the funnel smoke.:cry:
Someone fixed it in one of the SH4 mods, Racerboys smoke also suffers from this. Even in dead calm winds it is shooting sideways while the funnel smoke is just lazily drifting up.:o
