[WIP] German Cargoships from the 30`s

Hello Kaleuns,

this is my first work in 3D-Modelling.

Iam working on seperate Ships for the German Cargofleet.
I hate it that they have the same Shiptypes like the Allies in Stock SH3.

My Ships based on the KGN which is originaly cloned from the "Blockadebrecher" so thats a good base for German Merchants.

Two German Lines got Ships like these.
First the DDG Hansa ( Deutsche Dampfschiffahrtsgesellschaft Hansa ) from Bremen and second the Hapag from Hamburg.

First Type should be a Ship from the DDG Hansa from the "Fels-Class" with Names like "Tannenfels", "Hohenfels" and so on.

I hope you like these Ships.
But i got a small Problem with them cause iam a newbie in skinning.
I need help from a prof. cause when i wanne place the Symbol from the DDG Hansa on the black/white Funnel of the first Ship it repeats to much ................:damn:

I hope i can find someone like Iambecomelife who gonna help me to finish these Ships for Release .:oops:
Also i have to do some Crashtest until they could released.

I remember trying to get funnel logos to work on the NKGN about a year ago - unfortunately the funnel is very badly textured. In my opinion they should have paid a lot of attention to funnel textures, since in real life that was one of the main ways to find out what company or country a ship came from. A lot of the work on my Merchant Fleet Mod is simply researching old funnel colors from the 1930's and 1940's.

Anyway, I have an improved type of funnel I could send you - I designed it recently and I'm installing it on all of my older merchant ships (including that tanker in my signature). Letters and numbers will not repeat & will be correct on both sides (letters like "P" and "R" will not be backwards).

Sometimes 2 People got same Ideas so where is the Problem ?????

I am very proud to see this mod........reason is i am working for hapag lloyd.

When you want to have a ship`s name or model i can help you out.

But make this mod also possible for shiv. Hapag sailed also in the far east.

May be in new GWX improved KGN any made new unit, for example NIKGN with german weaps.... ?

Those pics were taken before the release of GWX 1.0
The ship was released last minute so we never really looked deep at it

Its funny to see this improved KGN.
But ok iam still working on my Ships.

An other one is just still in progress.
This one is based on a SH4-Ship which was importet from Molke2005.

The Hakusika-Freighter is an good base for Modding.

Here are some news from my overworked KGN´s for the Germans.

1.)This ship is only for the German DDG-Hansa-Line.
Design is nearly finished, i only got some problems with reflections.
The Line-Logo on the funnel doesent repeat so you are able to use this ship for every other Line, maybe some US-Lines like "Luckenbach-Line" ore so on !

2.) This ship is nearly the same but this only drives for the Hapag-Line.

I hope that someone can fixe the problem with reflection cause iam reaching the end of my knowledge :damn: !
