News sure went into a black hole after it was pulled. Any news on its status or is it out somewhere and I am completely out of it?

I fear he abandoned his work. Absolutely no sign of life here. But fortunately Kriller's and Leo's work will be quasi an environment mod and it looks awesome so far.
Needless to say Seeadler's foam texture considerably contributes to it.

Delete the seafoam.dds files in the misc folder. Make sure you are in port, deactivate Trigger, delete the foam, reactivate in JSGME, your done

Any news of a new public version of this environmental mod?
I used the 1.2 version, given to me from a german closed SHIV gamer group and the sky colors looks to me much more realistic as in ROW also the cloud rendering and volumetric fog effects ROW don't have.

I wouldn't bother with this anymore I think seeadler abandoned his mod and the forum, I think. Not seen any posts by him for quite a while. Try Leovampire's Reflections on the water mod. Its only in the alpha release stage at the moment but it is a great improvment over seeadlers work and stock SH4. I think it builds on the environment mod but takes that work a whole stage further.

I tried it but as I wrote before, in comparison with the non-puplic version 1.2 of Seeadlers Environmental Mod, ROW looks outdated to me, no volumetric fog layers on water, no high-cloud rendering, smoth bow waves etc.

I know all the work is going closed source based on legal reasons, only available for a special usergroup but I was hoping there would be a public version, possibly without the unauthorized changes in the sourcecode:stare:

you need to keep your YAP shut it is people like you and others that reveal stuff not supose to be talked about that keep people from using anyone for testers and getting sugestions from anyone when it comes to work on and for the games out there.
Deal with what is available now for mod's or make it yourself and or offer good criticism that can help us improve things with what is being worked on or made for people here.
I guess you are just one of the many out there that don't care about anyone or anything but themselves and screw the rest so you say things your not supose to.
Enough said! Just use your damm brain and wait or shut up!
Don't ask don't tell don't PM me on this! I see nothing, I know nothing, I hear nothing!

Well Said Leo. We went through all "this" with Falcon 4 (more than once)! This thread should be locked and buried from the look of it. Could get verrry messy.
