View Full Version : TM 1.4 vs 1.6
I have been using TM 1.4 since it came out, but have been reluctant to upgrade because I didn't want to have to go back in and make the changes I prefer once I got it as I liked it. Can anyone tell me if there are any significant changes between 1.4 and the current mod? And what they are if any?

I would recommend DL, the files and reading the enclosed supporting documentation. Ducimus has also posted changes in the TM thread, but the DOCS should be fine.

banjo, i think you would be pleased with 1.6. ducimus is going to release a small patch soon, and i religously keep up with kriller2/tater/wernersobe/leovampire's updates because their work is a major part of 1.6 & they are in an ongoing collaboration. but 1.6 is pretty much complete with darned near every cool enhancement you can think of. i just run a small mix of radar enhancements, latest betterscopes, and a few personal tweaks. I think the major thing you'd notice is just tight intergration with visuals and ocean physics.
