Howdy folks! Ive been ghosting these forums since I bought SH3 a hundred years ago. Before I get into my issue I wanted to say thank you to all the modders out there who work tirelessly simply for the love. You guys rock and I appericate everything you do.

Now to my issue. I installed LBO over the weekend and have run up against some strange things. The ocean in front and directly to either side of my boat looks like so kind of pulsing gell. The movement is not realistic at all. Reading the post here in the forums I can pretty much see that this problem is limited to me and me only as I cannot not find anything else to match what I am seeing. There is another thing as well, I noticed that when I move the cam around in free mode for a second or two my boat looks like its about to cloak (sorry, only thing I could think of that looks remotely close to what I am seeing). I know that my machine is not the super rig that alot of folks here have (AMD Athlon 64 something or other, NVIDIA 6800 GT with 256 on the card, and 1 Gig of Ram). Beleive it or not the game runs like butter with almost everything maxed out so I dont know if its hardware related or what.

On a side note I have never got JGSME to work so I had to put the files in myself, dont know if this will have anything to do with it or not.

Thanks for all your help in advance!

The jello water is not limited to you, it has to do with the cameras, not the water effect itself ( this from leovampire ), it is ( a fix ) being worked on and will be a small JSGME mod that will go over LBO when it is done.

Check my sig for a great JSGME guide, it is a must if you are dealing with mods. Not sure about your other question, somebody else may offer more.

O wow thank you !!!!!! I was begining to think that I was just stuck with it. Dont know how I missed that.... ;-)

Anyways, if it is a cam thing then I bet they both are the same problem. Thanks again man and thanks to leo for all the work he has done. I swear my game doesnt resemble the game that I bought anymore ;-)

You know what, i think this is one time when a relatively low FPS is not so bad. I am running this game with a high level of detail, but i only have 1/2 gig RAM, and my card is so-so; my performance is not stellar (looks great tho). I finally noticed this effect the other day; previously i had to ask what people meant by "jello effect". Anyway, it doesn't seem to be very noticable with FPS in the teens.

Interesting point ^^^, I get this from the Bridge, running about 35-50 fps from there depending upon conditions. I think LV has this pretty well solved :yep:

Hahaha I thought I was losing my mind for an hour or so. I spend ALOT of time on the bridge (this game with all the MODS is to gorgous not to) so I noticed it right off the bat. Anyone know of anything I can disable in the mean time to cut down on this effect?
