Thanks to donut for the idea and to Redwine for the tip on how to accomplish this.
Warning : This mod requires you to make manual changes to your Menu_1024_768.ini file. If you are not comfortable making those changes please don't attempt this mod.
This mod makes it easier to tell what status(fuel, battery charge, O2, CO2) you are looking at in the status bar section of the HUD. It makes each button light up in a different color when it is activated. It also changes the colors on the status bar so that (in 3 out of the 4 cases, CO2 being the exception) green = good and red=bad. I would have liked to have made that 4 out of 4, but the game uses one texture for the status of all four items.
If you make all the changes listed in the enclosed HowTo file the buttons and the bar in your status area will look like they do in these sections of screenshots. Please note that no other graphics on your HUD will be affected. Only the buttons and the bar colors will change.
