How do I get my submarine to be able to go deeper than 165ft? an example would be I have seen screenshots that you ppl have taken that say 229ft 324ft and so on how do you do that?
These questions should really be posted in the general SH4 forum, not the MODS forum.
Click below the depth setting guage. It changes from fine shallow control, to deep.

Thats the problem there.
or press "D" on your keypad, and you will dive until you press "A" on the keyboard. you can go all the way to the bottom this way, if you choose.

Just in case anyone ends up in here that wants to know for modding, the files involved in changing these parameters are in your \data\Submarine ZON and CFG files.
I'm not sure if you have to change one or both, but CCIP altered these for a depth mod he made for 1.2, the mod is still there if anyone is looking for it. I don't think it is 1.3 compatable though.

Try moving to water that's deeper than 165 feet... and open the Hatch :p

* Actually, take a look at your subs config and tweak files. Trick is to set the dive depth below the crush depth. -this will let you dive deeper, and keep you on your toes with respect to the diameter of your respective hole in the ocean. (Confirm not meters)
