Question Regarding the Captains Pic

I have been playing this game since it came out. If I click on the Capts. Pic it does nothing but light up. When I click on the group pic of sailors, it lights up but brings up the crew manager.

Question is the Captain's Pic suppose to do something??

maybe they thought of setting it up to show your patrol records and promotions or something but never finished it.
