Direction Finder Antennas not up and turning?

I have gwx (latest version) and do not have any other mods installed. Yet when i go to external view my direction finder is not up and turning. However my sonar on the deck does turn. I do not have enabled any mods for having the direction finder antennas on there down position and turned off. How can this be?

Are you sure you have the latest version? May seem stupid but I have been playing for months and thought I had the 1.03 only to discover a few days ago that it was not. Should say on the load screen 1.03.

Shift-r does nothing. I dont understand i,m sure i have the latest version i dont have any other skins. The hydrophone turns on deck but not the radar direction finder.

I did re-check the version. i believe it has to show 1.03 on the main loading screen right? The one with the wolf and the u-boats? It shows no version at all in the bottem right corner however i do have the setup.exe gwx 1.03 . Can i assume that i,m running version 1.03 ? I downloaded all the 5 files + the gwx 1.03 setup.

You're missing one.;)

All 5 bin files + GWX.exe (this will install GWX 1.0)

Then, download GWX1.03.exe, that will then install 1.03 over 1.0.:up:

Follow these instructions:

1. Uninstall SH3 via Windows' "Add/Remove programs"
2. Open Windows Explorer and:
- *delete* the folder where you had installed SH3
- *delete* the \My Documents\SH3 folder
3. Reinstall SH3
4. If your SH3 did not come with patch v1.4b already included, install patch v1.4b. Ensure you install the patch that corresponds to your copy of SH3 (Download/DVD/EMEA/US)
5. OPTIONAL: Copy and paste this "clean" install as a backup to avoid the need to follow steps 1-3 if your game becomes corrupt in future
6. Download into the NEW/SAME folder GWX.exe and the five .bin files. While there grab the v1.03 patch
7. Run GWX.exe and follow the installation prompts
8. Run GWX103.exe and follow the installation prompts
9. SH3 COMMANDER USERS: Download the GWX 1.02+ Cfg files for SH3 Commander and unzip the contents DIRECTLY into your SH3 Commander\Cfg folder.

Oh man i feel so stupid. Now i know how TAW_CZAREJS must have felt. I was sure i was running 1.03 but i wasent. Well i installed it and now it works just fine. Thanks guys for helping out a complete moron.
