GWX- Loads-90% and stops

when i start a new career or anything else it loads to about 90% and stops, tried it several times i have the CFG files for SH3CMD, could someone help solve my problem i know GWX adds alot to SH3 and i have waited a long time for this to come out,

Welcome to Subsim.

Do you crash to the desktop?

If not, wait longer, it will load. Load times have been experienced from 2mins to 10mins but it will load. Usually the loading bar starts quickly and 'hangs' at 90%, this last 10% will take the longest while the campaign loads itself and the models/graphics are rendered.

The reason, well you already anwered that, the amount of extra content is immense.:yep:

It's worth the wait. Go get a cup of tea or a beer.;)

the thing is i wait for about 6 minutes or so and get impatient or start thinking its screwed up also when i Ctrl+Alt+Del it says its not responding but im pretty sure its because i alt+tab out.

ill wait a while, i and a friend are nuts about sub sims, i havent seen any other good uboat sims and im not about to buy SH4, u boats are uboats but american submarines (just dont trust em!)

First load is always the longest while SH3 makes your career and my documents folder

I had this happen to me; and it would never load but stayed at about 90%, and would not CTD.
When I restored the orginal movie files into the SHIII\movies folder from my backup copy, it would load normally.
if I tried to play the movie file with any video program, I would get an eroe message and they wouldn't play.

thanks for all the help got it working ive sunken 80,000 tonnes of shipping so far but ?

starforce has f**ked me right in the face, i cant open ANY burned cd's or DVD's thing is they arent pirated games or anything like that but simple pictures, or some stuff ive written down etc ?
