[REQ] Type IIA "Vesikko" (CV 707) Skin

Could someone make a Vesikko skin for the type IIA? The vesikko was the Type IIA prototype.

Red hull bottoms were pre war
They were painted grey at outbreak of war

IIRC there are a couple of red bottomed skins about somewhere

Use the Chessmaster 10 Dat textures extractor. Its called extractor but you can use it as a repacker, too.

Go to Load a chess set, select the dat file of the sub you wish to modify, click on replace textures, and navigate to the folder where your TGA is stored. The TGA needs to have the name "Typ 2A_Hull". There should be no other files in this folder. I dont think it matters but i always used a empty folder to be sure.

Maybe. It works with VIIC/VIIB and IX types. Im not certain about IIA/IID and XXI.

AFAIK, the type II skins have to be packed back to their DAT files for them to work.I noticed this when I made that exact Vesikko skin few months back. (No, I dont have it anymore)
