[TEC] dynamic shadows??

i noticed it was an option in main.cfg in the cfg folder... it's not in the settings i think...is it safe to turn on?

oh and ps. i got a flotilla mod and the flotillas are all screwed up in 1939, the game actually crashes any help

The dynamic shadows doesnt work.

Do you have any other mods installed with the flotilla mod?

yeah, but i came with the pack, and i think it's in the cfg, when i select 1st foltila, i says im starting in whilhelmshaven, but when i start a patrol, it says "starting base kiel return base keil" and crashes

What pack? Where did you get the Flotilla mod? If it came with a larger mod, please tell, which one.

I enabled once Dynamic Shadows with my old rig (NVidia Ti graphics card) and got weird lime green shadows. Never heard of someone getting it to work. Probably an unfinished feature:hmm:

I too ran some tests awhile back with DShadows on & off, didnt see any difference. :nope:

about the mod, i really have no idea i can't really remmeber, is there anywhere i could get the original foltilla.cfg?

was do some porking around and i seen this when using pack3d :hmm: the Dynamic Shadows why it mite not be working as you can see in the screen shot all the Dynamic Shadows are set on false maybe that is why when you turn them on in the main.cfg file it dont work

Interesting. Wonder if it would be possible TO get them to work? It's entirely possible they made them perma-disabled for performance reasons that we won't have to worry about this many years after release.

now that i got te flotilla's ok, il try shadows once more, see if the shadows crased my comp, of if ti was the flotilla...
