How do I edit a title of a thread I submitted? I need to rename the VIIb exhaust mod for GWX. Currently it reads xxxxx v2.0 and I want it to be more generic and just say xxxx for GWX

How do I edit a title of a thread I submitted? I need to rename the VIIb exhaust mod for GWX. Currently it reads xxxxx v2.0 and I want it to be more generic and just say xxxx for GWX AFAIK it could be done this way:

1. go to your very first post of the thread

2. press 'edit button' right down of the post

3. press 'Go Advanced' button right down

4. now it's possible to change the thread's title in one of the upper lines

5. press 'Save Changes' button

If you want the thread title in the forum view to be changed you'll need to send a PM to one of the moderators to get it done. As long as you own the thread and the title is not offensive they'll have no problems changing it for you.
