[REQ] Animated shells for the 40mm Bofors?

As it is now, the stripper clip just sits there in the breech when the gun is being fired. Is there any way this can be animated to show the rounds disappearing one by one?

There was a mod for SH2, which I still have installed, which animates shell caseings being ejected from the AA gun, along with the appropriate sounds. Someone out there must be able to come up with something!

im pretty sure my guns in SH3 feed the shells in visibly

Now that this thread has popped up again, the more I'm thinking that someone out there could achieve this. I looked back into the SHII downloads on this site, and there is a mod called "Vickers Torpedo Wake and Oil Slick Fires". This mod contains alot of enhancements, one of which is animated brass (shell caseings) being ejected from the AA guns.

With the pool of talent here in this forum, and haveing what was already achieved for this sim, something like this seems like a walk in the park. Then again, since I know nothing about modding, mabey the truth is different. Anyway, seems like this may be worth a looksee. Would be a nice bit of imersion. Just my 2cents.

The shells do fly out (downwards) its just that the top - loaded ones - don't move.

Any chance they could disappear one-by-one and then re-appear when the gun is re-loaded?

it hass to be something thats possible, because im my stock SH3 no mods no patches the shells on the 37mm feed in one at a time
