Because of going on holidays at the end of this week, I decided to release now.

In the first part of Audioevent, it is obvious the smaller edition, you will hear command-, explosive ordnance-, weapon- and effect sounds.

Table of content
Flak gunner`s voices while preparing and reloading
New flak gun sound with shells fallin on the ground
Incoming bombs
deck gunner`s voices while on fire mission; english/german version. The english version includes more commands because I had better data bases. Notice: The sound files are both 8 seconds long. If you are using your deck gun automaticlly, you should set up your reloading time with minitweaker to 10 seconds.
Incoming artillery bullets
Preparing salvo torpedo attack; This is part of the intro movie (only german version)
Sounds for torpedo fire button; Two versions (old fashioned_#1 and XXI modern style_#2). Select one sound file, then delete the number #1or #2 and put the file into data/sound.
Steam propelled torpedo (Yeah, good old T1 :-), look and listen torpedo camera!
Decoy Launcher; New sound when BOLD will ejected that followed by a „bubble“ sequence. The only disadvantage is, that you can`t hear any longer the „torpedo tubes“ sequence, when you are outside the boat.Installation:

Remove your - torpedo tubes – file from data/sound
Select one of the persicope_Fire files from decoy Launcher (it includes the above fire button sounds but with a - torpedo tubes - sequence), delete number as above (stock version_#0, old fashioned_#1, XXI modern style_#2)
Installate the speech files (german or english) into data/sound/speech or speech_EnDo not install Sounds for torpedo fire button when installing decoy launcher

Command & Combat Audioevent Vol. 1 was tested with SilentHunterIII Patch 1.4b but without warranties of any kind. It is strictly forbidden to use this mod for commercial purposes of any kind.

Great sound mod! But... I have some questions on some of the files. I'm using GWX 1.03 w/ SH3 Commander, so not sure if that's changed the file structure. In my data\sound\speech folder, I have 5-6 subfolders each number "1", "2", etc. Each folder seems to have the same speech ogg files.
a) Do I copy (or make a similarly-strucutred mod folder via JSMGE) the various speech files in this mod (i.e. "man the flak gun") into each of the "1", "2", etc., subfolders?
b) When does the game play these speech sounds? In playing with this mod, I found all sorts of speech phrases I haven't heard in 2yrs of playing SH3, such as "we're docked", or "man the flak gun", etc.

I add the voice files to each folder....and yes, you are quite correct, there are already some voice files that aren't used in the game :arrgh!:

Jimbuna - thanks!

I created all 9 (1-9) subfolders in speech folder, and then copied and pasted the speech files into each. All this in a mod folder so I could enable/disable with jsme.
Hope thats right.

Very nice sounds...
...but english canoniers on the ships also say ''lade nacht''
during fight with our u-boot.
Indeed that is super mod. Fresh sounds.

That ''lade nacht'' may be very anoying, when you suffer 3,5 hours dephcharge from convoy escort ships, as I did on my 25 patrol :D . Except that mod is very good.

Blimey:o I thought everybody did:hmm: Oh well hope somebody is up for the challenge cause your sound mods have created a bit of a stir and it would be a shame for some to miss out cause of they're lack of experience with PC's(including me:oops: )would you consider passing on your valued hard work to a member of the board(of your choosing of course) to be converted to JSGME compatibility:hmm: ;) I for one don't want to miss out:yep:
