Yes, I'm all for it too. But unfortunalely it would be the same answer as when we tried to get the game codes for B-17 Flying Fortress "The Might 8th"..... a big fat NO from Atari. Like them UBI isn't about to give up anything. Well, they might change their minds if you've got a few million you can spare. And if you do, I could use some too. ;)

What GT182 said.
Since SH4 is very similar to SH3, the SDK could most likely be used for that game too. So I doubt they would part with it.
But then again, we could get lucky like the BDG did with Rowan's Battle of Britain.

Over seven years after release... people still want a SHIII SDK?
And as if Ubisoft would care... :shifty:

Well, it's been said more than once that SH3 modding has progressed so far that the SDK would be useless anyway. All modding would have to start over from scratch and most of the SH3 modders have left. The few that are still around would likely not want to start over, so it would be pointless.
SH3 will never die, and SDK will get second life for it, so YES:)

Yes ... out of principle.

Sums it up really. Would they just give us it, because we ask nicely? And do we even need it? I for one have everything I want out of SHIII - a great game to start with but with GWX, Commander and a few extras which we (I mean you, the modders) skilfully put together, do we even need it? I notice this thread was started in 2007. But the sentiment is there so I put a yes on it.
