[Req] Help! Help! with U-548 Technical details

Hi all I have decided to enter a story in this years Subsim story contest
however I have run into a few snags and although I was able to resolve
which zimmerman commanded U-548 at the time Im writing about I was
not able to find out if U-548 carried a schnorkel or not does anybody
know if she was so equipped prior to april 1944 or do you know where
I might find such a detail.???????????????????????????????????????

According to this information U-548 was fitted with a snorkel before august 1944 :)
