[REQ]Lower DD Sighting Range

I'm not too experienced with Visual sighting ranges on DDs and after my last foray, I was sighted at night, new moon, from beyond the contacts circle with contact map updates on. Actually, I was sighted at practically the same time as I sighted him whilst travelling on the surface at 11 knots.

I've also had problems even having my scope up for 10 seconds or less while submerged and still getting spotted from far far away.

Anyone have suggestions on how to mod this? Or, better yet, have a mod for it?

time of year and realism setting have the most effect on sensors and detection.

there were some mods for sh3 that reduced dd sensors so look into them and you may be able to do the same mod for sh4
