MAN Buchigeblase

Hi all.

Has GWX 1.03 reduced the maximun speed you can reach with MAN Buchigeblase? Al far as I can remember, in SHIII you could reach 20 knots at ahead flank with this device installed. In GWX I can hardly get 19 knots with good wheater. At first I thought that this was a sabotage problem (my base is La Rochelle and I use SHIII commander with the sabotage option activated), but in the second mission I can´t get more than 19 knots again.

You shouldnt be able to reach 20 kts in any uboat
Even 19 is a bit high unless its a IXD

The boat is a type VIIC. At ahead flank i got 19 knots for a few seconds.

I've gotten 21 underwater with XXI. (With GWX ofcourse)

Unless I'm mistaken, the only time in real life that a Type XXI reached 21 knots submerged was straight down, during Operation Deadlight....

That's because the game is wrong. The supercharger upgrade is wrong, because starting with the VIIb they ALL had superchargers, all the time; and the fastest speed in the game without superchargers is actually the fastest speed they got in real life WITH superchargers. So, to repeat, the supercharger upgrade is bogus, unrealistic, wrong.:down:

well then let's get this corrected in GWX 1.04! I'm all for 100% realism so if my boat is not supposed to be going as fast as it is then let's make it right. :yep:

I suppose that GWX devteam will have it into account for 1.04. Let´s see the optimistic side: you will not need to spend a lot of renown points to adquire the superchargers:yep:.

But it was fantastic to see my boat flying at 19 knots during a few seconds....:cool:
