Adding weather report to the Orders icons

I did this little tut on how to add the Weather Report Icon/Fuction to the Orders bar over in the Main Forum, just if some of you would like to have it. Its pretty easy to do and you only have to DL the new HUD.dds (linked)

You have to add this manually in to the

OrdersBar.cfg

found here

C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 4 Wolves of the Pacific\Data\Menu\cfg

Go to

[Station4]
Name=5640
Tooltip=5640
CommandWhenActivated=Conning_deck_camera
IconIndex=4

And put this in


Button3Command=Report_weather
Button3CommandToCheckIfIsEnabled=!Is_Underwater
Button3IconRowColumn=1,10
Button3Tooltip=5619

Be sure that all the other groups in [Station4] adds up

Look at the "Button" NR!!!!

Button2Type=Checkbox
Button2CommandWhenClicked=UZO_camera
Button2CommandToCheckIfIsChecked=Is_UZOTBT_camera_ station _Active
Button2CommandToCheckIfIsEnabled=!Is_Underwater
Button2IconRowColumn=4,2
Button2Tooltip=5642

Next is of course...


Button3Command=Report_weather
Button3CommandToCheckIfIsEnabled=!Is_Underwater
Button3IconRowColumn=1,10
Button3Tooltip=5619

and next... :p


Button4Command=Recognition_manual
Button4CommandToCheckIfIsEnabled=Is_UZOTBT_camera_ station _Active
Button4IconRowColumn=4,5
Button4Tooltip=5629

And so on...

Simply open it with "Notepad" to edit it.

Here is a JSGME ready WEATHER ICON MOD (you still need to do the changes in the
OrdersBar.cfg
like you have done, this only fixes the ICON!)

If you dont want to use JSGME (but I think you should!)
Open the packed folder and go to the last folder untill you find a file called

HUD.dds
and paste that in to

C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 4 Wolves of the Pacific\Data\Menu\Gui\Layout

Sure, here is a standalone version. As it changes the "Ordersbar.cfg" it will conflict with any other mod using that. This one also has the "Green Button Mod" made by JIMIMADRID! as its a "Must have"

I'm using the drop down map mod and would like to install the weather and search pattern bottons. Of course I'm also running the battle stations and crash dive mod. When I tried to install the search pattern and the weather mod I get a warning that says the HUD.dds is used by the drop down map mod. Is there a way to have all of these working at the same time? Is there a combined HUD.dds file that I would need? I know sometimes we have to merge a few of the 1024_768 ini files to get multiple mods to work. Is this the case here? Hope you can helps as your mods are the best!

Cheers man. I know there is a conflict here as the Pull Down Map uses this as well. I guess I will have to update that. Just finishing the last touch here adding the "Report_range_to_course_end" button graphics. I will update the Pull Down Map directly after...gimme maybe 1h or so.
