View Full Version : [REQ] Transparent water & torpedoes

It would be great if someone could do this mod:

Make the torpedo visible from above the water, like the other objects like ships and U-boats and shore.
There are a lot great modders here who should be capable of doing this job.

uhm you can see them through the water. They just run to deep. In large waves theyre sometimes visible.

Btw you can see the mines too. Thats very cool. Once i just wanted to look around as i usualy do every few hours. Ive picked my binoculars and found myself in a middle of a minefield. I could see the mines through the water everywhere around. Wow i was shocked. But looking closer at them they exposed to be much deeper then i thought so they were no threat to my boat surfaced. But good to know when you are in a mine field you shouldnt dive ^^

Wish I'd seen that. I've never been in a minefield before.
Saw one or two attached to a subnet though near Raboul.

Hmm, i swear i've never seen this before. Maybe i have to enable some additional graphic options. Must test this .... :damn:

Really, must have been there a million times. Never have I seen one single mine overthere. Will look however, I don't give up easily.......

Okay, i really can't see torpedoes through the water surface though they run at a very shallow depth. Environmental effects are enabled so all other effects.
Can someone please post a screenshot which proves that black is white ?!

it may be your grafics settings or your grafics card is limited

I don't think it's a graphics card issue because i can see my own boat at periscope depth from above the water surface. When firing a torpedo it isn't visible. I can only see the torpedo wake, that's all.
Again, would someone be so nice and post a screenie ?!!
