I completed my first mission which was to insert a spy, then went to the nearby harbour quietly and found 2 Japanese carriers! It took a day to set up, but I sank them both. Yea. admittedly, I used the easier `casual mode` in customs because I have no idea (or time) to learn the mathematical equasion required. sneaked my way out and was then found and chased a fair way by bombers that caused some damage.

Anyway... when I got back to base I was told `Well done, Mr. Pearl harbour!`

The game has changed my name!? My question is how do I change this back. Some games have a file that allows you to alter names like your own is there one in SH4? I`ve looked but not found it.

thanks in advance.

Look in (be sure its your last save, they are all numbered/dated)

C:\Users\XXXXXX\Documents\SH4\data\cfg\SaveGames\X XXXXXX

And check "CareerTrack" Open with "Notepad" If you see "Mr. Pearl harbour" change that to whatever and save.
Also check in the "UPCInitial" folder "CareerTrack" and do the same.

I can't remember if there are other doc's you need to check, but try that one 1st, if that don't work, have a look around in those files and see if you find other instances of "Mr. Pearl harbour" and change those and see if it works....should work but!
