Any new Ship models in SH3?

I know this will sound stupid - but I have not been hanging around the SH3 Forum for some time - so here goes: About 5 months ago I thought I heard something about new 3d models made for SH3. Was that scuttlebutt? I am revamping my V-Mod-Ultimate for SH3 - cause I have had a lot of time to just kill in June - and I wondered if I could now add American and Japanese ships to my Pacific fronts. The old V-Mod just used Brit battleships with names rendered to generic. I would like to make an option where players could use *.MIS files that would include new models that could be downloaded from other mods of such models.

Is this possible yet?

As yet the new mod has not been posted and I see no reason to repost the old one.

Yes, there are dozens of new ship models made by various modders. ;)

I wanted to drop in very small harbors for such places as third world nations where a large factory port would look silly. I know about the light house, but has anyone created mods to drop in smaller harbors without all the massive harbor facilities?

Dont mean to pimp my goods - but there is a pile of new ships in GWX 1.03 -
GWX 1.04 will be out soonish, that will have even more ships aswell as more AI subs and aircraft.
Easily double the content from Stock SH3 -if not more.
