Would anyone be interested in getting the damaged ship and air icons back for GWX? How about a single merchant contact mod like NYGM's for GWX? This would be like playing with 'No Map Contact Update' checked when it's not. I've been able to get this ship destroyed icons to work but I'm having serious trouble with the air destroyed icon. I shotdown an aircraft and marked the location where it hit the water and no icon. I saved and exited the game and changed the icon to the same as the ship destroyed icon. Went back into the game and checked to see if my shotdown aircraft was there, nope. So I ventured on a little more and found another to shoot down. After shooting it down still no air destroyed icon. I checked with external camera to verify they were British aircraft. Does anyone know if this (air destroyed icon) works in the 1.4b patched SHIII? How about a fresh install with no patches or mods? Has anyone seen the air destroyed icons during their career ever? It seems like there is a problem with the SHIII code that's preventing this from appearing on the map. Any ideas?
