I just received permission from Kpt. Lehman to share this little but useful tweak I did some time ago for my GWX 30th Flotilla careers. Basically I eliminated all traffic outside the Black Sea in the RND and SCR layers, so you don't notice any difference when playing the game with the 30th flotilla, but your loading times skyrocket! I went from 5 minutes to 1 minute and 10 seconds loading the campaign missions :D .

Any time you are transferred to another Flotilla, you just disable it when back at your home base in Constanza, and you have the rest of the world traffic back and can continue playing outside the Black Sea.

Of course it is JSGME compatible.

Yes don't worry, it was a five minutes job because the Black Sea is isolated, so deleting with the missin editor is quite easy as you don't risk touching other shipping lanes. Doing that with the Atlantic would have been impossible, and with the Mediterranean is also much more difficult.

Indian Ocean should also be very easy, except may be some routes that turn around the souther tip of Africa. But overall should be easy, can give it a try if there is interest :up:

It's going to be what I call a LARGE amount of work :o
It could be possible to release it separately, later, as an optional mod (in case you have too much work right now :huh:)
Do you know if we're really going to have it into 1.04 ? I wonder if we just can dream of it... :-?

I would be really interested in such 'reduced' campaign layers because, as far as I understand it, this would reduce the loading times condsiderably. GWX is really a great mod, however, the long loading times keep me from fully switching to GWX from my own mod compilation. Any effort to reduce the long loading times would be highly appreciated.
