Hi Everyone
I have a question about rearming your boat in spain. I have done it a few times while going further down south in my IXB but last time I went to spain was after completing GLORIOUS patrol - to give you a hint I walked through the convoy being escorted solely by HMS Rdoney (no survivors on the british side)
I docked with the milk cow and and everything worked well but I havent received any renown/medals/promotions for my crew.
So here is the question: when you finish a "good" patrol at the milk cow do you forfeit all the rewards you would normally get by docking at your home base?
P.S: sorry for a chaotic post, typing from work while thinking how to solve a few problems I got here today :damn:
It's a while since I've played SH3, but from what I can remember, the no medals/promotions thing does happen when you dock away from your home base be it a milch cow or another land base.
One way around that would be to use SH3 Commander.

On the contrary.....when docking at a milch cow or Spanish port you should receive renown, medals/promotion and supplies. The only function your unable to carry out is 'upgrading equipment' :yep:

Thanks for the replies guys.
Yeah, I wasnt able to open that little notepad with crew information after docking in Spain so not sure about renown but no medals/promotions for sure. In that situation docking in spain would only make sense if you are on the way somewhere further away and havent killed much on the way.
:nope:

To get access to the awards and medals, you must "open the grey personnel's cabinet at the "office" and click on "crew". ;)

You mean it cannot be done from the regular screen at the end of the mission as usual? (desk with files and folders on it)
...Actually I think I'll just save the game at some point and test it instead of asking stupid questions

There are many things that they are not easy to discover.... or not obvious at least... Happened to me many times with many other things. :know: ;)
