View Full Version : Radar manual control wheel? Opinions ...

Greetings guys.
I would like to learn your opinions about animation of radar manual control wheel ...
It is necessary to publish such mod or it is not necessary.
I have made it and now manual control wheel rotates clockwise together with a radar mirror.

Somebody can ask what for it ...
I can answer for the same for what hydrophone handle rotates ...

Could be cool :) I've never seen that wheel tho'! So it seems I'm not gonna use it anyway ;) But the idea itself is great!

Anvart, to be honest, I'd never use it, since the scroll wheel on the mouse does the same job. I am amazed that you can mod this. Every time I go to this forum it's the modders who found something most of us would never think of. I think you and all the other modders are doing a great job!!!!!!!! Thanks

Yes, of course, we should have that wheel animated! The more things that make the interior of the submarine come alive, the better! :ping:

How can you ask such a question...anything that helps to improve immersion is a job well done! :up: If it rotates in RL, so it should ingame.

But it's not the important feature ...
And we have static (not rot.) shadow of wheel...
And wheel LightMap made for static wheel ...
....

I vote yes, especially since (if I understood you correctly) it sounds like you've already created the mod and are just deciding whether to release it or not. Every little bit to add to immersion/realism is a good thing in my book. ;)

It is all about realism and complete immersion into the game. I would surely appreciate it if you were to do it.
