Hi,

Is somewhere a fix for this annoying compass bug?? It's VIIC conning tower with Fubar's skin. Without the skin compass is broken too. I remember that someone dealt with this issue sometime :hmm:

Moin,

I donīt have this bug with my installation(s). Which mods are you running?
The problem can be solved easily with some hex editing. I can guide you through or write a rule for the mini tweaker. Thus you can adjust the compass yourself.

DD is right, the DAT file needs editing.

The only fix I know off is built into GWX and was accomplished by REF.

I can't look for it at the moment but the original GWX 1.0 thread might have a link to a single d/l file but I'm not sure.:-?

Anvart also has it fixed, check out any of his posts for a DL link.

[Edit] GWX files must be used with GWX, there are other changes besides the compass fix, like cable mounts and radars, they won't be usefull without the rest of the mod

Thanks for help. I'm using NYGM so any patches for GWX could not work for me.

I searched Anvart's File Front page but fix isn't there.

Maybe someone could help me with this hex editing??

For that you have to contact Anvart, who is the creator of his Mods
