I know this has been discussed by some of you boff's out there, but I can't find the thread now.

Please can someone fix the boat's movement through heavy seas. It's a bit of a j/k, really. At times, I can see clean under the length of the whole boat when it crosses a large trough..The props spend more time out of the water than in it. I'm sure they weren't made of balsa wood...(Balao class - 1526 tons surfaced, 2424 tons submerged)

I know this is technically an eye-candy mod, and it probably won't be considered a valid use of time by some ppl round here, but, pretty please, you know you want it :)

Perhaps someone can point me to the thread about this so I can see if they have made any headway. Thanks!

To stop subs "flying" in heavy seas, you can use the scene.dat tweak file to remove the LargeWavesCoef from WaveState4. Change it from 1 to 0.

You get sligthlty smaller waves, but the sub acts normally.

Ace! Thanks Capt. Cox. That is, indeed the post I was looking for.

Now, as I'm a bit dumb, do I have to tweak that using the Mini Tweaker?

If so, don't I need a tweak file (.txt) for that or can I just edit the scene.dat directly?

I'm a bit of a newbie to self-modding, tho I did manage to use the minitweaker to fix the radar 180-270 thing (with an amazing tweak.txt file provided by someone with a much larger brain than me.)

Thanks for any info..I can't wait to get this fixed!
