I've gone through your excellent tutorial on pin pointing course, speed and position on targets by the help of geometry. Inspite of the fact that I do exactly as you say, I've had a lot of geometry and navigation as well so it's not totally new to me, I'm only a bit rusty haha, but in spite of all of that I am allways 4-10 degrees off on the course at least...always! This again means that I get quite an error when estimating the speed too 2 of the most important factors when setting up for an attack.
I don't expect this method to be deadly accurate, but errors that big, 10-20 degrees, are too much....end arounds are hopeless when the target is heading on a course 10 degrees off from what I have estimated :lol: So I must be making some kind of mistake or something, for example the tools on the computer, is inaccurate.
Do you have any idea? I find this very interesting, love geometry and so on so I would really like to learn it...not to mention that allied asw measures really motivates one to find alternatives to the good old scope attack! :lol:
