Hello fellow Kaleuns:
I would like to know if it is possible to find somewhere the twaking files that Mini tweaker uses to edit SH3, but for the GWX mod. I currently use those provided for SH3 + 1.4b patch. Are they the same for GWX or other super mods?
Thanks a lot for your help.

AFAIK the tweak files for GWX are not public domain, they are only available to the GWX mod team. And for some vital GWX files - like sensors.dat - you cannot use the tweak files openly available for vanilla SH3, because the files are slightly different. Others, though, suit both versions of the game. As a rule, if you load a tweak file and instead of getting understandable values you get a hex value for a parameter (like distance=09E45AF23 - you see the idea) it means the tweak file is for another version of the file than the one you have installed.

the tweak files provided are basically pathway files, they find the game file that coresponds to that file name so whatever game you have running is what you will have access to. this is also why you don't have all the tweak files for everything.

if your running gwx then whatever gwx files are there is what the tweak files change. think of them as shortcuts to the game folder, the tweak files themselves are not the files your changing they just grab the file your looking for from the game folder.

that is why if your making a gwx mod it may not work on stock 1.4b version because the file itself may be too different to work b4 you even mod it. this is why the only way to know what mods work with your mod is through trial and error.
