Is it possible to put the SH4 Radio into SH3 somehow? (im not talking about the gramophone... i mean the SH4 "radio" that picks up news and music on specific frequencies)

I don't think it's possible. I've had a quick look at the sound.act files in both SH3 and SH4. The file in SH4 is substantially larger and different to the equivalent in SH3 - I believe to include the radio. Both files also "refer" to files on the game DVD, so at least part of the radio function would appear to be hard-coded.

I agree with VM. Unless you get hold of an SDK it's not likely to be possible to transfer this function into SHIII.
