with a 10Kt warhead. i'm thinkin SH4 could also be set during WW2 in the alternate universe in Star Trek. mmmm mushroom cloud where Akagi or Kongo used to be:rock:

The warhead is doable - there are a few mods that give you up to a 3km destruct radius. The issue with the 48 (and all modern torps) is their wire guided - so they can be steered (or swam) out as both remote sensors and weapons. If a target swerves, no problem - you steer it back with the weapons sensor cone and sooner or later - its gonna go boom. That function just isnt possible with the engine we have.
Since you can't steer it in SH4, maybe you'd settle for the Shkval?
It'd give me a good laugh to see a Jap destroyer trying to outstrip a torpedo doing over 250 knots! Probably wouldn't even need a warhead hitting at that speed.
