nvdrifter's torpedo tweak files

Gizzmoe has already uploaded most of nvdrifter's tweak files. Thanks Gizzmoe :) .
I have updated the mini-tweaker mini-tutorial to point to the new locations. Link to the tutorial is:

The only files that seem to be missing are the Torpedoes_US.zon and Torpedoes_US.sim tweak files. I have the Torpedoes_US.zon file, but nowhere to upload it to, so as a stopgap till someone does upload it, I have posted the contents in Post #2 in this thread, so people can just cut and paste the contents.

Just create a file (in notepad) called " Torpedoes_US.zon.txt" then copy and paste the contents of post #2 into it.

EDIT:
I have deleted the post for the Torpedoes_US.sim tweak file, as it was the file for version 1.1 of the game.

Hmm, all of my SIM/ZON files works fine... Except the ones you've posted... Probably it was altered by the forum...

i have them all,but they are seperated for each torpedo - see my sig


i have the same zon files as above and they are out of whack so those are not very usable. most people just use the silent 3ditor tool anyway, i think that is why nobody bothered to fix the tweak files with bad lines in them.

you really are better off using the silent 3ditor for modding things, it has access to lots more stuff than we have tweak files for and it doesnt require you to go into the game files to removed copied files. (of corse you should back up any files your changing anyway)


this is why the tweak files are so outdated, there was no reason to do all the hard work updating them when the 3ditor already gives you easy access to everything.

it is strange at first with all the nodes this and nodes that but you get used to it quickly. you just click on things to see what they are and dont let all the node numbers confuse you

S3D is such a beautiful editor ! I made all my torpedoes (IJN, Mk 28 etc..) with it, it's a breeze !
