Adding destroyed ships to sh-3

I see that there are mods to add various ships, such as HMS Hood to sh-3 . When i tried to do this JSGME would not do this & told me the Hood was already in the game ! If it is possible to add the hood why not add the Bismarck as well Instead of OnE HOod & one Bismarck, Add a HOOd class & a Bismarck Class ?

i believe your running into the hard coded parts of the game. some things are just hard coded and can't be changed however you should be able to add ships but i can't help you in that department but others can.

The only two ships of the Bismarck class are the Bismarck and the Tirpitz.
I can't say much about the Hood class, but AFAIK this class was composed of the Hood, Howe, Anson and Rodney.

You know what ? You can have them all playing GWX. :D

I've been playing GWX 1.03 since it came out & ive seen all but The Hood & i always thought it was because Hood was sunk in 41 but then i found this Mod to add the Hood !

So I'd think it could still appear at random somewhere?

The only way to do that is to clone and rename then to something different
No point as only one Hood and both Tirpitz and Bismark are only one ship too

How can i make it so that it wont appear after the sinking in 1941? btw i sunk it during the Norwegian invasion, i was so suprised as i didnt know it was in GWX:lol: But i got it, but was it scripted or spawned? I dont remember if Hood was up there during the invasion.

From page 193 of the GWX Manual (aka "Das Buch") V1.03:

HMS Hood appears randomly until late May 1941 as well as standing-in for British battle cruisers HMS Repulse and Renown; she will be involved in Operation Rheinübung and sunk by Bismarck on May 24, 1941 as happened historically. After that date, she will stand-in for HMS Repulse until the Japanese sink her on December 10, 1941, and stand in for HMS Renown until the end of the war.
