Need Help with deleted files

I was trying to add deck gun to XXI. I had modified the NSS_Uboat21.dat and NSS_Uboat21.sim. However, I deleted the files accidentally. Anyone who is so kind that share the lost stock files to me?:doh:

Not yet. I was so sad when my trial is failed, and suddenly noticed what had gone wrong. But the files were already deleted, when I was sad:oops:

they upgraded storage and moved a few servers - it is bakc to normal now...



Did you edit the .dat file? If so, how (hexedit or other)? I have tried a few times now to make slight adjustments to use the Type XXI as base to clone some of the later (unfinished or planned) type submarines, but so far I always hit a snag (just like you I reckon) - any info exchange would be greatly appreciated :yep:

What I did was adding a new M01 node. Copy from a VIIC via hex editor, with help from Pack3D. Moreover, I added some part of the VIIC.sim too, the part with the deck gun node ID, though I have no idea what it is about:up:

I tried to add a deckgun via the basic file once, but the placing was out and it was right in the tower. If I remember rightly though it fired :lol:
