Out of all your genious sound mods I have chosen my favourite sounds and sailing/diving to sea with my special sound compilation. Works fine! However, the single files have different volume. This requieres often adjustment of the speakers volume control. How to adjust the single .wav files to achieve an overall smooth volume of the whole compilation?

Sound Recorder which you should have as a program with Windows, will do this for you, nice option to have. I have used it for various sounds, decreasing them as well.

You can do it from sh.sdl file into Data\Sound... but sadly there is no tweak file template for it.

It took hours to find this nice little SOUND RECORDER. :damn:
I think, this is an excellent solution to solve the problem.

Thank you reallydedpoet and redwine! :D

Should have mentioned it is under programs\accessories\communication.

From there you open it up, locate the file and edit accordingly. After just save the result and you are off to the races.

I have used it for various files, creaks, diesel sounds, etc.

Good Hunting:up:

There are tons of FREE Wav/Mp3 editing programs on the net also. Some have advanced features for removing pops, speed changes,Reverb,Multitrack mixing,EQ etc... Do a Google search.
