Working together with Pcelt, we arrive to manage bad or good some behaviour.
Unsinkable ships was under control.
Sub domino effect was not discovered but tweaked at point it can be a little bit predictable and you can perform some dives to peri depth and even beyond at crash depth in most of the situations.
But remains one thing....
Simetric damage....
Into the .cfg file there are separated hitpoints for port and straboard items...
But they seems to be remains of SH III, and seems to not works into S IV.
Into SH IVV, the simulator seems to take those values from .upc files, and... there, there are not separated hitpoints for port and straboard items.
My idea is to asign separated diferent values fro port and straboard items, so with a normal depth charge hit you will not losse all both items.
In example, port diesel engine 100 HP, and straboard diesel engine 300 HP.
A normal hit will destroy one, but noth both... a very stroing damage only will destroy both.
Into the damage control screen , you have 3 diesel engines items for port, and 3 disesl engines for straboard....
If you loss one for port and one for straboard, even with 2 items for port and 2 for straboard with no damage.... you become with NO propulsion and you are done.
Same happen with propeller axis and electic engines in example.
A small hit can let you with no propulsion...
This happen very often.... my imptention is to reduce this probability, and let this only for severe damage.
Yes i know... even when tehy are considered an single item, i can rise the hitpoints, but then i rise both,m and engine damage will become so strange in the game...
This is the last solution, but before i want to explore if adjust an asymetric damage is posible...
Any suggestion ? any idea ? anybody tweaked this yet..?
Any body knows how to tweak an asymetric damage now, with the non working .cfg file, and with the new .upc file ?
Any help will be apreciated...:up::up:
