Yeah, many of them were quite good and useful. He´ll let us know if he doesn´t like them to be reuploaded.

He didnt ask nvdrifter to host them again, he asked anyone to do it. Why? Maybe people enjoyed his work. Seems kinda childish take down your work because you don't like the game/community. I suppose I dont know the whole story so I shouldnt judge.

I have em but I am really hesitating here...as its hes work and this whole dam sad business started with him getting peed of (for real reasons or another) with "A" person that "HE" said did not give "HIM" credit for "HES" work. So i wonder if that is the correct way to do this? I mean a third party uploading something that nv pretty clearly don't want to share anymore :hmm:

He had the files on a public server (Filefront) and he never told us that we are no longer allowed to use his mods or to use the tweak files he had made for the Mini Tweaker. If you like, upload the files and send me a PM with the links.

I don't care if anyone else wants to host and share my SH4 files or tools. No problem. But I am once and for all finished with the SH4 modding board and all the garbage I have seen here. No offense intended to the moderators, but I have had it. :dead: I will not be hosting any more SH4 files/tools or contributing any more to modding SH4. My apologies go out to all the nice people here (there are a lot of you), but I have reached my limit with some of the horrible attitudes I have seen here. Enough is enough. I hope all you good modders understand why I am leaving. I wish you all the best of luck with modding SH4. Take care ;)

I don't know if I started this on the original post by asking for another DL site instead of filefront for the modding tools. All I want to do with the program is fix some mods to my taste, these mods made by the moding community are great but some mods might have 1 or 2 changes that I may not like so I'd like to see what I can do to tweak it to my taste...

You will be missed nvdrifter, your mods were great. I don't mod, I may in the future, it is a time thing for me. For those who do, hats off to you.

I remember when before SH4 came out, some of the SH3 community here was saying they were going to avoid it because of it being a Pacific Sim, which is to bad, without SH1 ( which was great ), the sim that started the series, we would not have gotten to SH3.

There are some great SH3 modders, but they can be an intimidating\territorial bunch as well.

Regardless of all of this, new modders will continue to come along, and will continue to make this series great.

Sorry to see this, I am totally lost, because I am new here. But I hope the best for this man. I don't like to see anyone upset over a situation that might be resolved one way or another. It is even more of an issue when it is a great modder and veteran to the community.

Having not been here when it all started, can someone please (now that NVdrifter has given his permission) upload the relevant other files, such as the deck gun mod v1.0 for the benefit of the rest of us.

Disclaimer: I mean NO disrepect to any of the Dev's that built these games SH3 & 4. If someone told me to build a game or die. I would just say shoot me. So you have my thanks and my respect for your ability to do these great things.

Now, it is no secret that when SH3 came out it had some faults (being nice here). It became the great game it is due in part to All the capable Modders that fine tuned it. All most of the Modders just ask that people who used their work give them credit for it. Damn! I think that is a pretty small price to ask for the great Mods they gave us. I spent a lot of time in the SH3 forum, reading, not posting. While I was there I saw griping, bitchin, stealing, taking claim for another person's work. But, I also saw gratitude for the works done. I saw more positive than negative. Unless you live in a world I don't know about, there will always be a few jackasses that cause trouble by ripping other people off. Like I said, I didn't post much in the SH3 forum, so I would like to apologize to all the Modders whose files I used, but did not take the time to THANK YOU for your work, at that time.

Please, don't let a few DA's keep you from helping those of us that do appreciate your work. I need you. I'm 60 years old and it is a little late for me to try to learn how to do this. So, give it some thought, But do what you got to do. Be true to yourself. Again You Have My Thanks. I didn't mention any names because you know who you are and there are too many for me to put in this post.
