Who to know which port to return?

Hi,

Is there a specifc file that indicate which port is one that allows ending a mission?

I'm stucked on May 10, 1942 on FreeSomething (Australia). That was the port that I started the mission in April but now (May) it doesn't allow to finish it. Beside this, no msg about Asia Fleet realocation :(

I expreinced the same problem later in the war 1943, i was transfred to Brisbane from Pearl Habour and after doing some patrols around Rabul and refitting at Marshall Islands 2 times, i no longer had at mainbase.

My first thought was it might accur when using mods, and i havent tryed it without so i cant say for sure. Maybe its a game bug.
I still sail around getting new orders but i cant update my score anymore. il have to c what happens when the war ends :D

anybody had this problem since 1.2 ....on returning to brisbane after an 11th tremendous mission found i could only refit or postpone not dock, very frustrating even trucked off to other ports to no avail .do you think there could be away around this prob

UPDATE
after starting two more careers was frustrated plus confused as to reason for not being able to dock back at brisbane in my first career[11 missions,1941-april43]so i reloaded save game but went straight to freemantlethis time ...alas was able to dock hooray "not" as i was repremanded and retired.would add i was out of base but 3 weeks and had sunk 154600 tons....go figure and all i got for it was a stinking statue and stories to tell my kids..............no shiny medals even!!!!!

I've found the damn port after wasting another entire month to get there (BrisSometing in Ozzieland). What a crap game! At least it could have informed a player that Asian Fleet had ran away from FremSomething in other side of Ozzieland. <img>

I couldn't completely follow this thread.

If you're having trouble ending your patrol, go to Freemantle, West Australia. It seems to be the one that works.
