Thanks to Kakemann for solving my non-aggressive escort problem with the modded files he was using. I've made a JSGME-ready updated version for those of you wanting a boost in your pursuers:

Sonar has been improved for escorts, and sonar tweaked in general. Escort experience has also been raised a bit (which is the update to the old sonar mod).

Give it a shot and let him know how it's working out.:|\\

Please a readme of what it is, and what it changed; else no install.:nope:

I would realy like to try out his hard work, if I knew what it does and what has been changed.

Modders take a few minutes to make a change log and proper readme if you want people to enjoy your mods.;)

With the change log, I can combine it with other mods that use the same files.

I'am a bit confused whats the difference between this mod and the nvdrifter "Harder enemy escorts - better sensors"?

I believe in the other mod the Japanese sonar was actually made less effective. Either way, it never worked for me but this one did.:up:

For me nvdrifter mod also work, escorts use hydrophone and active sonar also.
I still wonder what are differences between those mods to make a choice.

According to the changes in the Sim.cfg file I think this mod makes the AI even tougher than the other mod. :yep:
